This past week TWF was able to assist AIM Chicago with putting on their first ever JetCamp. This camp allows underserved students from the local area to experience aviation in a way they may not have ever been able to before. Campers were from a local charter school and ranged in age from 9-12. Local interns from Olive Harvey College who are currently enrolled in the general portion of Aviation Maintenance courses helped by acting as camp counselors. Campers learned about the 4 principles of flight, aviation terminology, and different career options that exist in the aviation sector. Many thanks to AIM Chicago for allowing us to be a part of this most exciting endeavor.
